Set the mood and build anticipation as guests arrive and find their seats--the live sounds will be attention-getting! This music should be uplifting and exciting to reflect the occasion.

This music accompanies the wedding party as they walk down the aisle. Many people choose several songs, so that each family and side of the wedding party walk down the aisle to a different song. This may also depend on the length of the aisle and the number of people. Don't forget that the rhythm and speed of the song should match how fast you want the walking speed for the wedding party!
The bride is often accompanied by her own song. Although Pachelbel's Canon in D and the Bridal March, “Here Comes the Bride,” are traditional, your own choices may better express you and your wedding.

Interlude music accompanies parts of the ceremony such as the signing of the registry, or any other non-speaking moments. Common choices are the couple's favorite love song or something introspective, moving, or romantic.

This is when the new couple, the wedding party, and the families walk back up the aisle. Choose a joyous and celebratory song!

Depending on the venue and the number of guests, consider choosing a few lively selections to accompany the guests as they begin to leave the ceremony location and transition to a cocktail hour or meal.
